Objective of the Club

  • To create a platform for students to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • To foster a sense of social responsibility and civic engagement among students.
  • To provide opportunities for students to participate in meaningful community service projects.
  • To promote international understanding and goodwill through collaboration with other Rotaract clubs.
  • To enhance the institution's reputation as a socially conscious and community-oriented educational establishment.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Club

Role: It serves as a student-led extension of Rotary International, fostering leadership, professional development, and service-mindedness among students. It acts as a bridge between academic learning and social responsibility, creating socially conscious and capable future leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • A. Organizational Responsibilities
    • Conduct regular meetings, maintain attendance, and record minutes.
    • Prepare an annual activity plan aligned with the College and Rotary guidelines.
    • Maintain transparent documentation of projects, finances, and reports.
    • Adhere to the constitution and bylaws of Rotary International and the College.
  • B. Program Responsibilities
    • Plan and execute at least one community service project and one professional development program per semester.
    • Participate in district and inter-club events such as RYLA, Rotaract conferences, and joint meetings.
    • Promote Rotary ideals — Service Above Self, integrity, and fellowship.
    • Involve students from all disciplines to promote inclusivity and teamwork.
  • C. Coordination Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with the Rotary sponsoring club for guidance and mentorship.
    • Report activities to both the college administration and Rotary district as required.
    • Maintain communication with the Institutional Rotaract Advisor and Student Members.
