NSS

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Government of India–sponsored program aimed at developing the personality and character of students through community service. It provides young learners with opportunities to actively participate in social welfare activities, promoting values such as social responsibility, discipline, leadership, and national integration. By engaging in activities like cleanliness drives, tree plantation, health awareness campaigns, and rural development programs, NSS helps students understand societal needs and encourages them to contribute meaningfully to the nation while fostering a spirit of selfless service.
