KIiTE students also aced the hardware segment of the 2025 Smart India Hackathon, held at IlIT, Pune. Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science students, Anish Karthic V S, Joe Daniel A, and Kavinila L, under the banner of Team INNO-CORES, were named Joint Winners of the Smart India Hackathon 2025 – Hardware Edition. The team presented an impactful solution to the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Disaster Management Tech challenge on Cloudburst Early Warning and Alarm System. In recognition of their achievement, they were awarded a cash prize of 75,000 Rupees.
