The Department of Information Technology at KGISL Institute of Technology organised a guest lecture on “Upskills in Cloud Computing and Security” on 30 January 2026. The session was delivered by Mr Prabhakaran V. M., Founder of Visaithalam, who shared valuable insights into emerging trends in cloud technologies and emphasised the growing importance of security and industry-relevant skills. The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr Palani K, Professor and Head, Department of IT.
