The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organized a workshop on “Open Source”, by Er.Sathish R, Mr.Sikkandhar Batcha J and IPS Tech Community Volunteers on 23rd January 2026 at KGISL Institute of Technology. Students gained clarity on open source contribution and understood the importance of it. They also gained knowledge on tools like VS Code & GitHub, at the same time they came to know about important concepts of version control.
