About the Department
The Department of Science and Humanities forms the intellectual foundation of all engineering and technology programmes at KiTE. It focuses on nurturing essential scientific reasoning, mathematical thinking, communication, and ethical understanding that underpin every field of engineering.
Established as one of the core departments of the institution, it offers courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English, ensuring students gain a strong base in technical skills as well as foundational knowledge for their professional studies. Through interactive teaching, practical laboratory sessions, and interdisciplinary exposure, the department helps students transition smoothly from school-level learning to the academic rigour of engineering education.
