Biography
Mrs. S. Rishika is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cyber Security at KGiSL Institute of Technology. She is actively involved in teaching, academic coordination, student mentoring, and organizing technical and co-curricular activities in the field of cybersecurity. Her academic and professional interests include Cyber Security, Network Security, Malware Analysis, Information Management, Cybersecurity Threats, Incident Response, and emerging technologies in the digital security domain. She is passionate about helping students develop both conceptual understanding and practical skills required to address real-world cybersecurity challenges. As a faculty member, she actively engages students through interactive teaching methods, practical examples, discussions, seminars, workshops, and technical activities. She focuses on creating an engaging learning environment that encourages students to ask questions, participate actively, and connect classroom concepts with real-world applications. She is also actively involved in department-level academic activities, association programmes, seminars, student development initiatives, and event coordination. She has contributed to organizing technical programmes and awareness activities aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge, professional skills, leadership abilities, and industry awareness. Her approach to teaching emphasizes continuous learning, practical exposure, student participation, and professional development. She is committed to supporting students in building strong technical foundations and preparing them for the evolving requirements of the cybersecurity industry. Through her academic and professional contributions, Mrs. S.
