Biography

M. Jeevitha is a dedicated academic professional with around 11 years of teaching experience in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems at KGiSL Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, since June 2026. She holds an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the domain of Cyber Security. Her areas of academic and research interest include Database Management Systems, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, and emerging technologies. Over the course of her academic career, she has actively contributed to teaching, student mentoring, project guidance, academic coordination, and various institutional development activities. She has also undertaken key responsibilities including IIPC Coordinator, Fine Arts Coordinator, Project Coordinator, and NBA Coordinator. She has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, seminars, and professional development activities to continuously enhance her teaching, technical, and research skills.She is also the author of a book titled “Deep Learning,” reflecting her interest in emerging technologies and knowledge dissemination.She has completed various NPTEL certifications and has actively engaged in research and scholarly activities. She has published research papers in peer-reviewed journals and contributed book chapters in relevant areas of Computer Science.
