Biography

Dr. R. Srinivas Prabhu is an accomplished Civil Engineering academician and researcher with over 15 years of teaching and professional experience. He completed his Ph.D. from Anna University in 2023, with a research focus on sustainable and high-performance construction materials. He holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, building a strong academic foundation in structural analysis and design.

Currently serving as Assistant Professor and Deputy Exam Cell Coordinator at KGiSL Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, Dr. Prabhu has previously worked in reputed engineering institutions across Tamil Nadu. He has handled a wide range of core subjects, including Structural Analysis, Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.

His research contributions include several peer-reviewed journal publications, including a Scopus-indexed paper in Resources Policy on sustainable utilization of mining waste in concrete. He also holds patents related to innovative concrete technologies and has completed a funded project on wastewater treatment improvement.

A dedicated mentor and leader, he has guided students to national-level achievements, including winning the Smart India Hackathon 2022, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
