Biography
Dr. Sakthivel Arumugam is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He completed his Ph.D. in Cryptography and its Applications. He has 25 years of teaching experience and 11 years of research experience.
He has published more than 25 papers in various international journals and presented papers at 10 national and international conferences. He has authored 3 books and 2 book chapters. He has served as a resource person at more than 10 national and international conferences.
He has delivered seminars on Data Structures, Analysis of Algorithms, and Cryptographic Algorithms at various institutions, including those abroad. His research interests include Security Attacks, Security Services, and Security Mechanisms.
He has guided more than 30 undergraduate (UG) and 10 postgraduate (PG) projects. He is a life member of ISTE, CSI, and ACCS. He has completed several NPTEL certification programs and other online certification courses.
He has served as a reviewer for reputed journals indexed in Scopus. He has also contributed as a subject expert and reviewer for TCS iON, Wipro, and Infosys. He established the first National Cyber Defence Research Centre for Cyber Forensics at Kalasalingam University.
