Biography

“Dr.A.Shanmugasundaram is in the academic field for the past 27 years in various educational institutions including P.S.G. College of Technology and AMRITA School of Engineering, Coimbatore, Mechanical & Robotics and Automation departments, in various positions and currently working as a Professor and Head of Robotics and Automation department in KGiSL-Institute of Technology.
He has an experience of 27 years in under-graduate teaching, 14 years in post-graduate teaching, and 11 Years & 11 Months in industries. He served in industry for 10 years in Bimetal Bearings Limited, Coimbatore and 1 year and 11 months in Larsen and Toubro Limited, Coimbatore.
He is the author and co-author of 33 papers published in scopus indexeed International Journals and conferences. He also published 3 papers in the non-Scopus journals and conferences. He presented many papers in a national / international conferences and out of which 7 papers are awarded as best paper in the international conferences. His doctoral paper was awarded as best paper at NIT, Trichy and in Amrita.
He also delivered a guest lecture on “Automotive Valve Timing Systems” at L.G.B. Ganapathy, Coimbatore. He also attended many workshops, conferences and dedicated training programmes during his carrier. He is a Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (LM 76090).”
