Material science (Polymer nanocomposites -Energy Storage)

Biography

He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Science and Humanities. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics, with specialization in Materials Science. He has 5.3 years of combined teaching and research experience. His research expertise lies in polymer nanocomposites for energy storage applications, with current research focusing on bio-polymer nanocomposites for electrochemical energy storage devices, including supercapacitors and batteries. He has published more than 18 research articles in international journals and has authored five academic books. He has attended more than 21 international conferences and webinars. He has successfully participated in the Centre for Engineering Education Excellence (CEEE) Mentorship Program, sponsored by INAE–AICTE–Infosys, conducted at IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal. He is an active reviewer for 8 journals. He was selected as a Young Science and Technology Leader by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, for the ESTIC Conclave held in November 2025 at New Delhi. He has received a seed grant from the KGiSL Trust to establish a Materials Research Centre, supporting advanced research in energy storage materials.
