Biography

Ms. Nandhakumari J is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KGiSL Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. She holds a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an M.E. in Industrial Engineering and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management. She has over 11 years of teaching experience along with industrial exposure as a Programmer Analyst Trainee. She has contributed significantly to curriculum development, student mentoring, and outcome-based education practices.

She has published several research papers in national and international journals and conferences in the areas of fuel cell performance enhancement, CFD analysis, lean manufacturing, renewable energy systems, and mechatronics applications. She has presented research papers in reputed national conferences and actively participates in faculty development programs, workshops, and training programs related to productivity improvement, thermal engineering, and statistical process control.

She has guided numerous UG student projects, served as an Academic Advisor, and supported departmental activities related to NBA, NAAC, and ISO accreditation, contributing to successful compliance and documentation. She has hands-on experience in technology-enabled teaching methodologies and laboratory instruction in Strength of Materials and Mechatronics.

She is a Life Member of IEEE and has participated in professional awareness programs, NSS activities, and social outreach initiatives. Her research interests include Mechatronics, Renewable Energy Systems, Lean Manufacturing, Robotics, and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing. She has also completed online certification courses, including AWS, and actively engages in continuous professional development.
