Biography

Ms. Janani S is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering with over 9.5 years of academic experience. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. and specializes in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Cybersecurity Education, and UI/UX Design.

She has strong expertise in developing and implementing AI- and ML-based solutions and has actively contributed to industry-oriented projects that enhance operational efficiency and technological capabilities. Her technical proficiency includes tools and technologies such as TensorFlow, Figma, and Kali Linux, enabling her to bridge intelligent system development, cybersecurity practices, and user-centered design.

She serves as an Innovation Ambassador under the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE at KITE, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among students. She has published multiple research papers in Scopus-indexed journals and has contributed two book chapters in the field of Artificial Intelligence. She also authored the book “Artificial Intelligence” in 2022.

Ms. Janani has completed several professional certifications through NPTEL, Coursera, and Udemy. She holds the Certified Cybersecurity Educator Professional (CCEP) credential from Red Team Leaders (Issued: December 3, 2025), demonstrating her commitment to cybersecurity education and awareness.

She actively organizes and conducts workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and seminars. She has delivered invited guest lectures, including a session at PPG College, contributing to academic collaboration and knowledge dissemination. She has also filed patents reflecting her research and innovation contributions.

She is a Life Member of the Computer Society of India (CSI), the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). She is also associated with international professional bodies such as IAENG, IACSIT, and IDES.
