Dr. Venugopal has nearly two decades of experience in teaching and research, with expertise in Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include Materials Processing & Characterization and Natural Fibre Production, with domain strengths in Robotics, Machine Design, and Advanced Manufacturing. He has published research articles in reputed international journals, holds patents in Natural Fibre Products, and actively contributes as a reviewer for leading journals.

ABOUT AICTE IDEA LAB
The AICTE IDEA Lab (Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship Academy Lab) is an initiative by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) to promote innovation, experiential learning, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty in technical institutions across India. AICTE - IDEA Laboratory has been approved for KGiSL Institute of Technology at a total cost of Rs. 90 lakh, which includes Rs. 60 lakh in non-recurring expenses (equipment, tools, and consumables) and Rs. 30 lakh in recurring expenses (events and activities over two years).
