Biography

Ms. T. Jeevitha is a dedicated academician and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at KGiSL Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, since September 2023. She has over five years of teaching experience, having previously worked at PPG Institute of Technology and Info Institute of Engineering, Coimbatore. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering at Anna University (registered in July 2024). She completed her M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology in 2017 and her B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University. Her areas of interest include DBMS, Programming in C and Python, Software Testing, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, and emerging technologies. She has published research articles in reputed journals and international conferences, including works on equity price behavior analysis, breast cancer detection using medical imaging, and UAV network optimization. She holds a published patent titled “Enhancing Visual Perception for the Blind through Faster P-CNN” (March 2024). Dr. Jeevitha has actively participated in various FDPs and workshops on AI, Blockchain, Quantum Machine Learning, IoT, Cloud Computing, and Explainable AI. She has presented papers at national and international conferences and serves as the NBA Criterion 9 Coordinator. She also mentored the team “Immortals” for the SIH 2024 Grand Finale, reflecting her commitment to innovation, research excellence, and student development.
