Biography

Mr. Prakash P is a dedicated academician and researcher in the field of Management Studies with over 15 years of teaching experience in reputed institutions across Tamil Nadu. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at KGiSL Institute of Technology (KiTE), Coimbatore, he qualified UGC-NET in Management in June 2012 and is pursuing his Ph.D. under Bharathiar University at Nehru College of Management. He holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Anna University, and a B.E. degree from IRTT, Erode. His teaching expertise includes Financial Management, Capital Markets, Operations Research, Statistics for Management, Business Analytics, Research Methods, Banking, and Production Management. He has published several research articles in reputed journals, including Empirical Economics Letters (2025), Asian Journal of Research in Social Sciences and Humanities, IJRITCC, and others, and presented a paper at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He received the prestigious NPTEL “Discipline Star” Award in 2020 and has earned multiple Elite and Elite+Silver certifications in courses such as Operations Research, Marketing Research & Analysis, Behavioral & Personal Finance, Business Statistics, Business Analytics, and Investment Management, securing Top 2% in Investment Management (2024). He has also completed advanced courses in Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Financial Statement Analysis & Reporting, and International Business. With strong analytical skills and proficiency in SPSS and TORA, he remains committed to the diffusion of knowledge to budding managers through teaching, research, and academic leadership.
