Biography

Dr. L. Susana Ramya is an accomplished academician and researcher in Mathematics with over two decades of teaching and research experience. She currently serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Science and Humanities at KGiSL Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Anna University, Chennai, in 2020, with her doctoral research focusing on the stabilization of uncertain dynamical control systems via state feedback control.

Dr. Susana Ramya’s research expertise lies in the stability of dynamical systems, uncertain and time-delay systems, and reliable and robust control, with significant contributions published in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, including IEEE Transactions, IET Control Theory & Applications, ISA Transactions, and International Journal of Systems Science. She has served as a Principal Investigator for a DST-funded project (₹17.5 lakhs) under the Women Scientist Scheme (WOS-A) and actively collaborates with national and international researchers. She is also a reviewer for Web of Science-indexed journals and the recipient of the Best Researcher Award (HEEA-2024) and Best Reviewer Award (2024).

An experienced educator and academic leader, Dr. Susana Ramya has successfully mentored students and improved academic outcomes through innovative teaching strategies and differentiated learning approaches. She has organized national conferences, seminars, and academic events, and has contributed as an editor and author of books and book chapters in Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence.

A Life Member of the Indian Society of Industrial & Applied Mathematics, Dr. Susana Ramya remains committed to fostering higher-order thinking, research excellence, and continuous professional development in the evolving landscape of mathematical sciences and technology-enhanced education.
