Biography

Dr. S. Kamalakannan received his M.E. degree in Wireless Communication and his Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at KGiSL Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, India. He has 16 years of teaching experience and 10 years of research experience in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. His academic and professional career reflects active involvement in teaching, research, and institutional academic development. He has presented 32 research papers at national and international conferences and has published 27 research articles in reputed international journals. He has also published four patents. He has received research funding from the All India Council for Technical Education and the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education. His current research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Digital Communication, with a particular emphasis on the application of intelligent techniques to modern communication systems.
