Dr. Ashok Bakthavathsalam, Founder and Managing Director of the KGiSL Group, is a distinguished leader whose vision laid the foundation for KGiSL Institute of Technology. With a career spanning Information Technology, BPO, Healthcare, Education, and Renewable Energy, he was among the earliest to foresee Coimbatore’s emergence as a major IT and BPO hub.
His strategic foresight and commitment to education led to the establishment of institutions focused on industry relevance and skill development. Under his leadership, KiTE continues to address India’s skill gap by aligning academic outcomes with national and global workforce demands.

Dr. P. Shankar is a senior academic and research professional with nearly two decades of experience as a G-level Senior Scientific Officer at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research. His academic and research career reflects deep expertise in scientific inquiry, institutional governance, and higher education leadership.
Following his research tenure, he transitioned fully into academia and served as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Arkansas, contributing to international teaching and academic training. At KGiSL Institute of Technology, he began his leadership journey as Principal and has been instrumental in driving the institution’s academic growth, quality assurance, and administrative systems. He currently oversees academic and administrative operations, ensuring consistent standards in teaching, governance, and student development.

Dr. S. Suresh Kumar is a senior academic administrator with over 31 years of experience in engineering education, research, and institutional leadership. He is an active member of numerous national and state-level engineering professional bodies and has contributed extensively to government and non-government-funded research initiatives.
Throughout his career, he has held several leadership roles and responsibilities that have significantly influenced academic planning, faculty development, and institutional quality frameworks. At KGiSL Institute of Technology, he provides strategic academic direction, ensures regulatory compliance, and strengthens research and teaching practices.
