ATTENDANCE |
| 1. Students should be in their seats in the respective classes before the teacher enters the class. |
| 2. Anybody who is not present in the class when the attendance is taken will be marked absent. |
| 3. Absence for one or more periods during a session will be treated as absence for half a day. |
| 4. Calling students from the class room/ laboratory during lecture hours/practical's except with the
permission slip from the head of the department concerned is prohibited. |
| 5. Students can absent themselves only after applying in the prescribed leave letter form signed by the tutor. |
| 6. Hostel students should have their leave applications endorsed by their deputy warden attached to the hostel. |
| 7. Leave applications of day scholars should bear the signature of the parent or guardian. |
| 8. Application for leave on medical grounds shall be accompanied by doctor certificate and submitted within 5 days after the recovery and reporting to the college. |
| 9. Leave application for exemption shall be signed by the concerned HOD/staff advisor/physical director and submitted in advance. |
| 10. Prescribed minimum attendance should be maintained by each student as per the regulations relevant to his / her programme of study |
